Behavior Support & Management
Behavior support for families focuses on promoting positive behavior and addressing challenging behaviors in the home. It involves strategies like establishing clear expectations, creating positive routines, and using positive reinforcement to encourage desired behaviors.
Having taught students with behavior disorders and having a child with ADHD, Dr. Ortiz knows that the adult is the most important variable when it comes to behavior management. She understands the day to day challenges of parenting a neurodivergent child and can help you identify the "why" , focus on the positive, teach replacement behaviors, and help you establish consistency and routine.
